Abstract

Elementary school children are more susceptible to dental caries because in general elementary school children have bad habits. Based on UKGS data, the DMF-T results were obtained as follows: D = 70, M= 1, F= 2 and the total DMF-T was 73 and after calculations the PTI result was 2.7%. From this data it can be seen that as many as 60 students refused to have fillings done. One of the main factors that causes children to refuse to carry out patching is student anxiety. The problem in this research is the low PTI (Performance Treatment Index) for rejection of fillings in 60 grade 5 students at SDN Mojorayung 01 Madiun Regency. The aim of the research is to find out the anxiety picture of grade 5 students regarding tooth fillings at SDN Mojorayung 01 Madiun Regency. The research method is the type of research used is descriptive research. The research targets were 5th grade students at SDN Mojorayung 01 Madiun Regency. The data collection procedure was carried out through distributing questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used is by presenting the results of respondents' answers, then presenting them in table form. The results of the research are that students' anxiety about tools is in the moderate category, students' anxiety about the room atmosphere is in the medium category, students' anxiety about health workers is in the mild category, students' anxiety about the surrounding environment is in the medium category. The conclusion of this research is that students' anxiety about tooth fillings is included in the moderate category
