Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that have been submitted will be reviewed by the editor. The editor will decide whether the manuscript fits the scope and focus and is suitable for bestari partners. This initial activity usually takes a week.
Submissions that pass the initial review will be assigned to at least two reviewers (multiple peer review). Based on the reviewer's decision, the first editor will make the editorial decision. There are three possible editorial decisions (1) the manuscript is accepted, (2) amended and re-submitted, or (3) rejected. This activity takes 4-6 weeks.
Time to reach a final decision depends on number of review rotations, perceptive author etc. Typically, the time frame from submission to final decision is 2-4 months on average.
The total turnaround time for publishing the manuscript depends (besides the factors mentioned above) on the submit date, the journal's publication schedule, the author's adherence to publication guidelines, etc. Review and acceptance of manuscripts for publication by Information Media is an average of 2-4 months.
