Abstract

APM stands for Self-Service Registration Kiosk. This machine, which looks similar to an ATM, allows registered BPJS patients (those who have previously received treatment at Lavalette Hospital) to register and receive a SEP (Patient Eligibility Letter) without having to go through the information or registration counters. With the implementation of APM, it is expected to minimize long queues that are usually found at the information counters for obtaining queue numbers, which are then used to queue at the registration counters. Based on research findings, it is known that many patients are still unable to use the APM machine. The purpose of this research is to determine the quality of human resources, standard operating procedures, and facilities and infrastructure in the use of APM. The research design, conducted from December 2024 to January 2025 at Lavalette Hospital, uses a design method based on journals discussing self-service registration kiosks in hospitals. The objective of this research is to create a system that is intuitive, efficient, and meets the needs of both patients and staff.
