Abstract

Food poisoning still occur in Indonesia. In the Provinces of Central Java and D.I. Yogyakarta food poisoning occupies the first position in the outbreak in the last 2 years. In handling outbreaks of food poisoning, the district/city health office will conduct an epidemiological investigation and identify the etiology of the poisoning. Laboratory confirmation of suspected contaminated food is needed to find the causative agent of poisoning. The Center for Environmental Health Engineering and Disease Control (BBTKLPP) Yogyakarta is a technical implementing unit of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. One of whose duties and functions is to facilitate the response to outbreak signals in Central Java and D.I. Yogyakarta. An information system is needed that can facilitate the testing of food poisoning test samples, process epidemiological investigation data, as well as submit recommendations as a quick response to food poisoning outbreak signals that occur in districts/cities. This study aims to design an information system for web-based food poisoning outbreak responses that can be implemented at BBTKLPP Yogyakarta. The research designs prototypes and evaluates the usability level of the system using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The design of the model diagram is made using the web-based Draw.io application and PowerDesigner 16.5, while the user Interface (UI) design uses the web-based figma application. The results of the study obtained a prototype and the average score of SUS was 75.8 which indicated the system of Good and Acceptable categories. Thus the system can be implemented in BBTKLPP Yogyakarta. It is necessary to improve the system design so that it can better meet user needs, be more informative in presenting data, and better support organizational performance.
