Abstract

Bhayangkara TK II Sartika Asih Hospital Bandung is a COVID-19 referral hospital that help government programs in carrying out COVID-19 vaccinations. Based on the preliminary study, the researchers found a problem, namely that the registration officer only combined the control card with a photocopy of the ID card and did not write down participant identity data directly on the control card. This can pose a risk of losing or slipping participants' identities, so that it affects the process of recording and further data verification in the observation section. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of a Health Information Management in the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination. Uses qualitative analysis with a case study. The subjects of this study used 8 informants with the object being studied, namely the Standard Operating Procedure for COVID-19 vaccination. In-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The triangulation of data used is sources and techniques. The role of Health Information Management in the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination based on Health Information Management competency standards is in accordance with theory. The role of Health Information Management based on the flow of the COVID-19 vaccination service, the officer already knows the flow and in the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination, the medical record officer is placed in the registration, observation and reporting section. Reports on COVID-19 vaccinations are reported to the ministry of health as national data.
