https://ejurnal2.poltekkestasikmalaya.ac.id/index.php/bmi/article/view/804

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia, including in Tasikmalaya city, with an increasing prevalence. This study aims to analyze the capacity of health promotion interventions in the prevention and control of NCDs in Tasikmalaya city. The methodology used was a cross-sectional survey involving 31 health promotion program managers at puskesmas. Data were collected through a 2010 WHO capacity mapping instrument questionnaire, with eight domains of health promotion capacity. The results showed that the average capacity of health promotion interventions was at developmental level C, meaning that the program had begun to be implemented, but its impact could not yet be clearly assessed. There was a significant shortfall in the number of human resources trained specifically for NCD health promotion, as well as low budget allocations. The variation in respondents' ratings suggests the need for better evaluation and monitoring of the program's effectiveness. Based on these findings, the study recommends improving HR training, developing more targeted policies, increasing financing, and strengthening collaboration with various stakeholders. With these measures, it is hoped that efforts to prevent and control NCDs in Tasikmalaya City can be more effective and sustainable, thereby reducing the burden of disease in the community.
Heri DJamiatul Maulana, Peni Cahyati , Dudi Hartono, Sri Mulyanti

https://ejurnal2.poltekkestasikmalaya.ac.id/index.php/bmi/article/view/784

Pregnancy is a critical period in a woman's life, often accompanied by physical and psychological changes that may lead to anxiety. Anxiety during pregnancy, particularly in high-risk cases, can negatively impact both maternal and fetal health. This study aims to assess the effect of the Husband Alert Journal (Jursiga) in reducing anxiety levels among pregnant women at risk. This pre-experimental study involved 33 pregnant women in their third trimester, with mild to severe anxiety. A non-equivalent one-group design with pre-test and post-test was used. The results showed a significant reduction in anxiety levels, with the majority of participants reporting mild anxiety after using the journal (63.63%), compared to severe anxiety before the intervention (63.63%). Statistical analysis using a Paired Samples Test revealed a significance value (p) of 0.000, indicating that the use of Jursiga was effective in reducing maternal anxiety. The study highlights the importance of involving husbands in the maternal care process and suggests that providing support through the Jursiga journal can be an effective intervention for reducing anxiety in pregnant women at risk.
Qanita Wulandara, Bayu Irianti, Uly Artha Silalahi

https://ejurnal2.poltekkestasikmalaya.ac.id/index.php/bmi/article/view/791

Background: Globally, around 20-40% of infants aged 0-2 years experience problems with delays in the development process. The period from infancy to age 2 years is called the 1000 days of birth. This period is the shortest of all developmental periods, so it is essential to meet optimal nutrition and stimulus because, after this period is passed, the brain will grow slowly and can never grow quickly again. Baby massages can help children get the appropriate stimulation for infant development. Baby massage is one of the traditions inherited from our ancestors, and it has proven its efficacy in stimulating development. Along with technological development, baby massage has been modified to a more modern pattern until it became a new trend known as the baby gym. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of complementary baby gym therapy on motor skills in improving development. The research method used is quantitative research with a quasy experiment design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample in this study were toddlers aged 5-12 months. The sample size was 60 toddlers, 30 in the experimental and 30 in the control group. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Results: After complementary baby gym therapy was carried out on babies, the baby's motor development was normal for 86.67% of respondents. The t-test results showed p = 0.012 (<0.05), meaning that there is a significant influence between the baby gym and the development of motor babies. Conclusion: Complementary therapy in the baby gym has an effect on motor skills and on improving development.
Farida Arintasari, Ian Rossalia Pradita Puteri
